I don't know why you say goodbye, I say Hallows
Finally finished up the latest, and final, Harry Potter book--so I no longer have to tiptoe around teh intarwebs, trying to avoid all the Spoiler Curses (TM).

A good book, not Rowling's strongest, but not as messy as the last two. All in all, a decent ending to the Potter universe saga.

And please let it be the end; don't let this be another Reichenbach Falls. (This in no way is meant as a spoiler; I am simply referring to Conan Doyle thinking he had finished with the Holmes saga definitively--and was then forced by a clamoring public to start it up again.)

Spoiler-ish comment behind the cut, though.

J.K. Rowling lied. When she appeared on The Simpsons, she told Lisa ("Greetings, young muggle!") that Harry would grow up and marry her. How disappointing. Just think of all the pointy-haired, bespectacled children they could have had!
