Finally an Interview

I just got home from a job interview. I want to think it went well--it is a good position, I am a good fit for it, I have all the qualifications and I tested well on computer skills earlier this week--but I have never walked away from a job interview knowing if I did well or not. It's frustrating.

One odd thing happened this morning as I was getting ready: I went to tie my tie, and for a few minutes I completely forgot how to do it. I just stared down at it, totally flummoxed as to how to tie it. I actually had to go online to find a how-to diagram; once I did that, it came back to me and I tied it perfectly in about 15 seconds. Weird.

Woot! Best of luck with that one :)

Ties are the devil. But if the devil gives you a job, so be it. ;)

Yeah, ties really do suck. I am strongly hoping that I won't have to wear one on a daily basis in whatever position I do finally get...but it is nice to put on a suit for the interview, no matter what the position is.

Thanks for the good wishes, and fingers crossed!

I wish you the best of luck on that =o3

Thankyew! o(:o) I should know on this one by late next week or early the week after that.

In the meantime, I keep searching and applying!

Good luck on the interview! I hate ties too...when I had my interview in December, I had no idea how to tie one either....I had to go to tieguide.com to get a diagram @.@

I like how they look, but I can't stand wearing one. I spent my first week dressing up and then dropped back to black jeans and a button-down shirt (no tie) and everyone seems good with that :D

I envy you; pretty much any job I will be able to land will be at least business casual, which will mean no jeans...unless I get lucky. But if I don't have to wear a tie on a daily basis, I will be happy!
