Woo hoo! Boo-yah! Giggitygiggitygiggity! *happy wuff dance*
Phil Mickelson has just won his second Masters tournament! Last year, he put the green jacket on Tiger, and this year, Tiger gets to return the favor. o(:o) I would also like to thank Lefty for not making this year at Augusta the hair-pulling, down-to-the-last-putt, ulcer-inducing nightmare he put me through in 2004. All kidding aside, it was cool to see Lefty walking down the 18th fairway knowing this time he was the champion.

And to think just two years and one day ago, all the sports media were needling Lefty about being the best golfer to never win a major.

Now he has three majors.

In your face, Space Coyote!

*dances some more*

Oh, you hadn't heard? Turns out he signed a wrong scorecard and had to be disqualified. Tim Clark won instead.

Just kidding. It's probably a good thing there's a continental mass between us right now. ;)

(Bet '04 doesn't feel so bad in comparison to that prospect, too! :))

Well a few years ago everyone was right. He was the best golfer to not win a major, and everyone knew it was just a matter of time until he would finally learn what it takes to win them. I was routing for Freddy though.

A Boom Boom win would've been sweet. I was pulling for Gentle Ben. Imagine a Crenshaw win at this stage of his career. ;)

Me, I'm super-pleased. Of my picks to finish in the top ten, one won, four tied for third, one came eleventh. Eight in all made the cut--wtf happened to DiMarco? He's been bangin' on the Champions Room door the last five years!

For the record, I say that the best golfer to never win a major (and sadly rapidly running out of time) is Colin Montgomerie. It won't be Sergio's turn to wear that label until Monty wins or retires.
