I was tagged by keff_centaur with this...well, okay, I asked.

The idea is to name ten things you love starting with the letter that you are given by your tagger. Likewise, if you would like a letter from me with which you can do the same, just comment and ask!

I was given the letter G; results under the cut.

1. Gusto Gummi. Two G's for the price of one! Gusto is my patron toon, and has been for twenty years. The only openly gay Gummi Bear, Gusto is a toon hottie and a lot of fun.

2. Giants. This is sort of a two-for-the-price of one entry. Not only am I a lifelong macrophile--and love anyone who towers over me--but I also love the Giants of the They Might Be variety.

3. Grey wolves. I have always had a very strong affinity for wolves; this species is my personal totem--and my spiritual guide.

4. Green. Simply put, this has always been my favorite color.

5. Ghosts. I have been fascinated with parapsychology from a very young age; it probably didn't hurt that I grew up in a haunted house. I love researching ghosts and poltergeists, even though running into them face-to-face pretty much scares the crap outta me.

6. Gypsy. Not to mention the rest of the crew of the Satellite of Love. MST3K has been a very big part of my life from almost the very beginning.

7. Golf. Okay, I can't play real golf worth a damn, but I can mini-golf with the best of them. And golf is the only sport I actively enjoy watching on TV. Go Lefty!

8. Gene Kelly. With that five-billion-watt smile, energetic dance style, and just plain oodles of charisma, how can you not love this guy? PS: Nice butt, too. Check him out in those tighty whitey pants in Singin' in the Rain.

9. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. The final film of my favorite actor of all-time, Spencer Tracy; in fact, he was so ill during filming that Katharine Hepburn ponied up a lot of her own money, since they could not insure him--or the film's completion. Sadly, he died 17 days after filming finished. Happily, it is one of his best performances--and a powerful film overall.

10. Great Mouse Detective (The). Still my favorite Disney animated film, and likely will remain so. I am a huge Conan Doyle fan, I love Vincent Price--and the mousetrap scene alone is worth the price of admission!

Honorable Mentions: (this was a tough letter for me to keep down to just ten!)

Gemco (my favorite coin shop), Gromit (and his cracking toast), Gryffindor (my house--and the best house), Gore (as in Al), Groening (as in Matt), Griffin (as in Peter, Lois, Brian et al.)...and finally, Kelly Groucutt, bassist for ELO! o(:o)

So...anybody want a letter?

All righty then!

How about the letter L?

Kelly Groucutt? Oh! You mean the Other Guy's other guy! XD

We'll have to make a Gemco run when you're in town. Woot! I haven't been there since your last visit!

Ah, heck. As long as I'm here, letter me!

Yer just pissed 'cause I didn't say Garcia. o(:o)

And I forgot Grapes. As in of Wrath. As in Steinbeck. D'oh!

I shall bestow upon thee the letter...

Meh, I wouldn't've expected that... although I am surprised you missed Steinbeck.

Dayamn, I gotta think of a way to get Asimov and the Dead out of 'C'... I already know how to get MST3K.

That falls in under the category of #2: Giants. o(:o)
